#1 website for Embedded Engineers. Acorn Studios challenge: (1) Make eg3's site more user friendly and functional to increase the number of new and return visitors (Embedded Engineers). (2) Make the site graphically appealing to marketing and communication managers who would be advertising their businesses on eg3 therefore increasing revenue. (3) Increase the number of advertising spaces on the website. (4) Raise awareness and increase sign ups of a new feature, e-clips newsletter.
Working with eg3's back end engineers Acorn Studios produced HTML templates and graphics and features for this web site. Acorn worked with eg3 to design screen layouts, graphics and site interactions. Acorn produced mockup pages, then, after a review process, optimize images and assembled page templates. Once complete, deliver these templates to back end engineers.
The results were a marked increase in advertisers revenue, site visitors and email newsletter sign ups. www.eg3.com is now the leading website for embedded engineering information.

Acorn Studios covered all aspects of graphic design for this fast growing start-up in 1998 . Our job was to improving the "look and feel" of site navigation, making it easier for visitor to find and purchase products.
Acorn Studios designed many features including the Chipshot.com logo and graphics for professional golf bags carried on the PGA and LPGA Tour. Other graphics appeared on golf club shafts and other accessories.
Working with marketing team to conceived and create hundreds of on-site and on-line advertisements, which appeared on many high profile sites such as Yahoo, Lycos, AOL, MSNBC, Excite and others.
Worked with outside vendors to supply them with company graphics, i.e. logos, hi resolution photos, slides, and art for promotional material, T-shirts, hats, golf balls, print ads and more.
Co-produced a biweekly promotional HTML newsletter, including digital images, for email distribution.
Responsible for all product photographic imagery including, digital image manipulation, color correction, and optimization. I have produced thousands of digital product images.
Location and studio photography, live model shots for feature golf instruction article series for men women and children. Studio live model shots for golf exercise instruction series. Live event sports involving professional golfers.
